OBJECTIVE OF ICEST 2022

Since 2020, the world has experienced different global turbulence including COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, the Russia-Ukraine turbulence is yet settled. Most African countries face different challenges with insecurity and unrest. Thus, this 2022 international conference is organized to bring together the scholars, professionals and technocrats from around the globe to discuss the global turbulence arising from politics, economics, education, science and technology in relation to resilience and recovery to achieve international interdependency.

INSTRUCTION

Each article title page should contain:

  • Title of the work and an abstract of 200 maximum words
  • Name of the presenter (surname last)
  • Author(s) institution address
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Keywords of maximum of 5 words

We welcome Abstract submissions that include but are not limited to the following sub-themes and topics:

  • African Rhetoric of indigenous turbulence and development
  • African economics/politics and global turbulence
  • Economics, trade and global turbulence
  • Vocational and technical education resilience
  • Education and educational technology during global turbulence era
  • Natural, physical, applied sciences and global turbulences
  • Language and literature perspectives in global turbulence
  • Engineering and technological innovations during global turbulence era
  • Management and social science perspectives of global turbulence
  • Food and agricultural science during global turbulence era
  • Cybercrime, peace and security during global turbulence era
  • Counseling psychology and global turbulence
  • Sports and sport mediators for global peace
  • Arts, religion and culture in global turbulence era
  • Digital technology and global turbulence
  • Globalization and Technological transfer in global recovery
  • Social Mobility, urban economics and geography in the global turbulence
  • Gender involvement in global resilience and recovery
  • Any other relevant topic in education, science and technology to the main theme

EXPECTATION FROM PARTICIPANTS

Participants are expected to follow these Guidelines. 

Article for plenary session presentations must include:

  1. A soft copy of the full paper which should be submitted on or before Saturday, 19th November 2022 through the Conference website. Please download the MS-Word document here to prepare the manuscript.
  2. A well prepared power point (slides) for presentation. This should be submitted on or before Saturday, 19th November 2022.
  3. Poster presentation is welcomed. The author shall bring it to the hall for presentation
  4. Abstract and full paper should be submitted through the official conference website (http://www.ceradconference.com/) and or by email: cerad@bouesti.edu.ng

Conference Article Originality

All papers for the conference would be subjected to similarity check.

Exhibition Galore

The conference LOC has arranged to make the venue attractive and enjoyable. Different kinds of exhibitions would be displayed to do shopping including artistic impressions, food science displays, industrial technology displays, theatre displays, scientific research displays, EKSU entrepreneurship displays, etc.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Visa Issue

Participants who require a visa to enter Nigeria must submit abstracts and register early, to book for visa and flight. Details of a mandatory non-refundable registration fee is found in the flier of the conference.

The conference fee includes a conference bag, pen and writing pad. Please, Note that all participants are having the obligation to have sufficient funds to attend the conference, including payment for the conference registration fee, transportation, and accommodation.

Sponsorship and Accommodation Issues

The conference LOC and the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti do not provide any form of sponsorship or financial support to conference participants. However, the University Guest House (UGH) will have a moderate rate for conference participants, and LOC might provide transportation between the UGH and the university main campus starting from the 22nd of the conference.

Special Information about the Conference

The conference events are subject to change considering the NCDC guidelines and global health safety concerns on COVID-19. Nevertheless, the conference is organized using blended presentations – physical and virtual. All physical attendants should come with their nose masks. Also, note that all official updates will be posted on the conference website and whatsApp conference platform as soon as they are available.
